A Tiny house is usually around 500 square feet or less and placed on a metal trailer frame with wheels.  There are all the features of a regular house inside – kitchen, bedroom, living/workspace area, and even a complete bathroom with toilet and shower.

It seems like I am hearing about tiny houses everywhere!  Honestly, it seems like a great way to start a homestead on a piece of land.  Buy a property and put a tiny house on it.

But there are lots of rules and regulations to follow.  While simple it needs to be done the right way, and I’ve been researching the different kinds of construction techniques and areas where it is permitted.
